Covington Water District Major Tree Clearing Permit
Project Description: The developer has identified 121 significant trees within the project limits of which 80 trees will be removed. The developer is retaining a minimum of 41 trees (33%) of the trees on-site; therefore, the developer is not subject to tree replacement requirements. The trees to be retained are proposed along the northeastern portion of the site. This Major Tree Clearing Permit is associated with Clearing and Grading permit, City File No. G11-0001 for the Covington Water District seismic and safety upgrades to Tank 2B and demolition of Tank 2A. The site contains no environmentally critical areas.
Fred Meyer Fueling Facility Commercial Site Development Revised Notice of Application
Project Description: The Developer is proposing to construct a retail gas station located at the southern portion of the 14.5 commercial site. The facility will include a 5,418 sq. ft. canopy, 14 fueling stations (7 dispensers), and a 112 sq. ft. cashierâ™s kiosk. The facility will include the installation of two underground gasoline storage tanks, and associate site improvements. The developer is revising the project to include the addition of a new 34-stall paved parking area located on a vacant portion of the property, near Highway 18. Water service will be provided by Covington Water District and Sewer service will be provided by Soos Creek Water and Sewer District. Emergency Services provided by the City of Covington and Kent Fire Department Regional Fire Authority.
Woodbridge Preliminary Plat - Major Revision
Project Location: The subject property is located in the Prestige Park Div. I, 15416 SE 256th Street, Covington WA. The site lies within the SE ¼ Section 23, Township 22N, Range 5E, and consists of King County Tax Parcel No. 2322059071.
Project Description: The Developer is proposing to revise the preliminary plat of Woodbridge (City File No. LU06-0080/2106) and has withdrawn the preliminary approval of Woodbridge II (City File No. LU09-0014/2106) and the associated Memorandum of Understanding between Tritec Homes and the City of Covington, King County Recording No. 20081002001034. The Major Revision consists of modifying the original Preliminary Plat (Hearing Examiner approval dated 04/25/2007) from 8 lots with a new local access road that will extend west from 155th Ave SE to a 6 lot subdivision whereby all lots will take access from 155th Ave SE. Water service will be provided by King County Water District #111 and sewer service will be provided by Soos Creek Water and Sewer District. Emergency Services are provided by the City of Covington and Kent Fire Department Regional Fire Authority.

Street Vacation of a Portion of 176th Place SE
Notice of Public Hearing Date & Location: Thursday, May 17, 2012, 10:30 am, City of Covington City Hall Council Chambers, 16720 SE 271st Street, Suite 100, Covington, WA 98042.
Project Description: The developer is requesting to vacate a portion of 176th Pl SE between SE Wax Road and SE 270th St. Specifically, the proposed vacation includes the southern portion of the street and the option for the full eastern portion of the ROW. The properties adjacent to the street vacation areas are owned by the developer and the city. The remaining western portion of 176th Pl SE, adjacent to Parcel Nos. 3780400110 and 3780400110, is not proposed to be vacated at this time and will remain to provide access to those properties.

Project Location:Â The subject property is located along 168th Place SE between SE 272nd Street and Covington Way, Parcel No. 366059186, and is situated in the SW Quarter of Section 36, Township 22N and Range 5E in the City of Covington, King County, WA
Project Description: The Developer is proposing to construct a 34,300 sq. ft. medical emergency department and associated site improvements in the Downtown Town Center (TC) zone. The total site ownership is 10 acres, and in accordance with CMC 18.31.080 the development proposal is limited to 4 acres. The developer provided a conceptual drawing for the remaining 6 areas pursuant to the Town Center Decision Criteria. The conceptual drawing has no vesting rights. Water service will be provided by Covington Water District and sewer service will be provided by Soos Creek Water and Sewer District. Emergency services will be provided by the City of Covington and the Kent Fire Department, Regional Fire Authority. The site contains no environmentally critical areas.
