Groundbreaking Scheduled for Covington Community Park

A park nearly 10 years in the making in Covington just achieved a huge milestone. At their June 12, 2012 meeting, the Covington City Council voted unanimously to approve a construction contract for Phase 1 of Covington Community Park. The groundbreaking event will be held at the site on Tuesday, June 26 at 3:30 p.m.
