By Volunteering The city has multiple volunteer opportunities for those interested in giving their time and effort to help enhance the city's parks and recreation system. Volunteers are very important to the success of events like the annual Covington Days Festival and Covington KidsFest. The city also occasionally holds or facilitates park clean-up and beautification projects when necessary.
For more information about volunteering for events, e-mail festival@covingtonwa.gov.

Donating Property Sometimes the city acquires new park property through property donations. For example, some of the Covington Community Park property was donated to the city.
If you have property in Covington and would consider donating it, please contact Parks and Recreation Director Ethan Newton at enewton@covingtonwa.gov.
