Project Location:     The site is located at 18808 SE 256th Street, King County Parcel No. 3022069001, in Covington, Washington.

Project Description:                    The developer is proposing to remove 18 high risk or hazard trees (14 total removal, 4 to remain as snags) in the green space buffer area within the Lakepointe Urban Village- RCMU zone. Most of the trees to be removed are located behind the residence at 18912 SE 258th Street.   Each tree removed will be replaced at a 1:1 ratio.  The removal and replacement of the trees is in accordance with Section 19.2.6 of the Lakepointe Development Agreement (Ordinance No. 02-2071). There are no environmentally critical areas within the tree removal area.

Comp Plan/Zoning Designation:     The zoning designation is Regional Commercial Mixed Use (RCMU).

Consistency with Applicable City Plans and Regulations:           This proposal will be reviewed for compliance with all applicable City of Covington ordinances; including CMC Chapters 18.65-Tree Preservation and CMC Chapter 14.60-Clearing and Grading.

Comment Period:         May 11, 2018 – June 1, 2018
