Notice of Public Hearing Sept. 10 on Parking Regulations


TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 10, 2019 – 7:00 PM

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that pursuant to Chapter 35A.63.220 of the Revised Code of Washington, the Covington City Council will a hold a public hearing for consideration of amendments to Covington Municipal Code (CMC) 18.50.110, by adding language to change the total number of vehicles parked or stored outside a permanent fully enclosed building or carport for single family dwelling units regardless of zones. The City Council’s public hearing will take place on Tuesday, September 10 at 7:00 p.m., to be held in the Council Chambers at Covington City Hall, 16720 SE 271st Street, Covington, WA, 98042.

The purpose of this public hearing is for the City Council to receive comments from the public, both written and oral, regarding the proposed amendments to CMC 18.50.110 Off-street parking plan design standards. These amendments are a non-project proposal and will apply citywide.

A hard copy of the application material prepared for these amendments by city staff is available at City Hall.
