NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that pursuant to Chapter 35A.63.220 of the Revised Code of Washington the Covington City Council will hold a public hearing for consideration of a Development Agreement consistent with Covington Municipal Code (CMC 18.114) in association with a Boundary Line Adjustment and a request to rezone property in the Lakepointe Urban Village Subarea from Mineral and R-6 to Regional Commercial Mixed Use (RCMU), Mixed Residential (MR), R-12 and R-6 on Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at 7:00 p.m., to be held in the Council Chambers at Covington City Hall, 16720 SE 271st Street, Covington, WA.
The purpose of this public hearing is for the City Council to consider the Planning Commission’s recommendation, receive comments from the public, both written and oral, regarding the proposed Development Agreement (LU16-0026), Boundary Line Adjustment (LU16-0024), and Zoning Map Amendment (LU16-0025) submitted by Oakpointe. The Lakepointe Urban Village Subarea is located southeast of State Route 18 and its intersection with SE 256th Street, on the north side of Covington and consists of Parcel No. 1922069041, 3022069001, 2022069152, 2922069162, 2022069012 and 3022069090 in Covington, King County, WA.
A hard copy of the application material submitted by Oakpointe for the Development Agreement (LU16-0026), Boundary Line Adjustment(LU16-0024), and Zoning Map Amendments (LU16-0025) is available for review at City Hall or can be viewed online at: http://www.covingtonwa.gov/lakepointe
