READYSETPLAY is a completely FREE and fun annual summer program for elementary school-aged kiddos in the Covington area, made possible through a partnership between the Covington Chamber of Commerce, the Kent School District and the City of Covington.

This year's program has adapted to be SOCIALLY SAFE* (click for details) and kiddos can earn dozens of custom BRAG TAGS® by completing challenges and activities that are sponsored by local businesses and organizations. If your kiddo completes them all and collects all tags by the end of the program on Sept. 30, 2020, they are eligible to redeem them for a prize pack including 10 Free Swims at the Covington Aquatic Center.

- Get kiddos active and creative by doing new and fun activities in socially safe ways!

We seek awesome Covington businesses and organizations who enjoy being a part of the community and would love to expose their business/brand to families throughout the greater Covington area! If you represent a business or organization within Covington city limits and would like to participate and can do so in a socially safe way following state guidelines, please visit the READYSETPLAY business webpage hosted by the Covington Chamber of Commerce at for details.

The goal of our program is to get kids active and creative. Due to COVID-19, that goal is more important than ever to keep kiddos and their parents sane this summer! It was looking like we would have to cancel the program, but all of our participants rallied together to make changes that would work. This year's program has adapted to be socially safe and still promises tons of fun! All activities can be completed solo or within your family and can take place where social distancing is possible including at home, in open parks or trails, in your yard, going through a drive-through, completing it online, and places where capacity is limited and phase guidelines are followed. Participating businesses are accepting submissions and distributing BRAG TAGS® in socially safe ways and while following safety precautions. We also ask that you stay within your family unit if you visit any businesses and as you complete any activities and wear face masks as required. *Program is also subject to change as state guidelines change.

If you have questions about collecting BRAG TAGS® or other program participation questions, please email If you are a business with questions, please visit the chamber website or contact the Chamber at
