Registration for Spring programs is open. Spring programs will run from April-June. Summer registration will begin on Monday, May 24th. Please note Parks and Recreation programs, activities, and events may be delayed, adjusted, or canceled to comply with current Covid-19 guidelines.

Ascend Gymnastics

TINY STARS
This co-ed class introduces coordination, physical development and socialization to young gymnasts. It also includes parent participation! Gymnasts must be able to walk.

MINI STARS
In this co-ed class, gymnasts will be introduced to the basic concepts of gymnastics, balance and strength in a fun-filled environment.

MIGHTY STARS
Mighty Stars (girls only) will be challenged with more advanced gymnastics concepts in a fun and positive environment.

GIRLS BEGINNER
In this introductory, girls only, school-aged program, gymnasts will learn the basics on all four apparatus’.

Martial Arts

KINDER KARATE
This ongoing non-contact class teaches kids the basic fundamentals of martial arts including physical fitness, balance, coordination, memorization, goal setting and respect. A $40 uniform fee is due to instructor on first day.

BEGINNER MARTIAL ARTS
The beginner martial arts classes teaches the basic fundamentals of karate. A $40 uniform fee is due to the instructor on the first day of class.

Dance

PRE BALLET

This is an introductory dance class for 3-4 year olds full of fun, music, and moving! Your blossoming dancer will have a blast learning the basics of ballet. The fundamentals of body awareness, coordination, rhythm, and beginning terminology will be introduced. Ballet shoes suggested but not required.

PRE BALLET & TAP

This is an introductory combination ballet and tap class for 4-5 year olds full of fun, music, and moving! Your blossoming dancer will have a blast learning the basics of ballet and tap. The fundamentals of body awareness, coordination, rhythm, and beginning terminology will be introduced. Ballet and tap shoes required.

Safety Classes

SUPER SITTERS

Boys and girls, come for a day of fun while earning your Super Sitters Certificate. This class will cover leadership, the business of babysitting, basic care for children, understanding children of different age groups, safety and first aid. Bring a sack lunch and snack to class. Participants are required to wear masks and will be socially distanced.

Toddler Programs

PARENT-CHILD SING & PLAY

This is an interactive Parent - Child (or adult/child) singing and play time full of fun, music, colors, beats and movement! The instructor will facilitate an engaging environment for creativity and exploration for children through the assistance of their parent/adult. Together we play!

 Spring Break Camp

POKEMON ENGINEERING WITH LEGO® MATERIALS

Join Ash and Pikachu as you build, capture, train, and explore the vast world of Pokemon with tens of thousands of LEGO® parts. Design your own Poke Balls, explore the Kanto region, and fly with Charizard. Explore engineering through the fun world of Pokemon with the guidance of a Play-Well instructor.

Preschool Programs

ADVENTURE PALS (FORMERLY PLAYTIME PALS)

Experience Adventure Pals with your child as we hear a story, do a craft, sing songs and finish with a snack of your choice. Each month will reflect a new theme for our Adventures together. Classes remain online via Zoom. Please plan on stopping by the Maple Valley Center each month to do a drive by packet pick-up of class supplies. We ask that you have basic art supplies available at your home, such as crayons or markers, a glue stick, tape or stapler. Class will last between 45-60 minutes, depending on the size of the class. Zoom ID’s will be texted out after registration is complete.

Teen/Adult
